Campus Festival

by Louise on Thu 22nd Mar 2012 |

Week 9 saw the return of the increasingly successful annual Campus Festival. With over 50 student groups involved the day was a storming success with students from all over the university demonstrating their passions and interests. The event attracted large crowds of people all day enjoying the entertainment from both stages, as well as the Climbing Wall, our International food court and White Kitchen demonstration area, Silent Disco and student stalls. The evening also saw the culmination of the incredibly popular ‘Campus Fest Battle of The Bands’ where the winners Soulrigg went on to play the headline slot receiving a rapturous reception and will go onto play at Beach Break Live this summer.

The festival ended with the traditional ULMS Orchestra and fireworks display.

Photos from the day can be viewed on the LUSU Facebook page.
